    • Camp Chabad, accredited by the American Camp Association, is located in Cincinnati. For approximately six weeks from the end of June through the first week in August, children from 20 months to 13 years attend this camp--usually more than 300 children from 30 area schools. Activities range from virtually every sport to a wide variety of the arts. Individuals with prior experience working with children teach the campers, and the camp also has a full-time nurse.

    Camp Chaverim

    • This camp is for children from kindergarten through third grade. It operates for eight weeks and begins in mid-June. For a fee, the camp allows parents to drop off children as early as 7:30 a.m. and stay as late as 6 p.m.; the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children have daily lessons on Israel's culture, music and various other skills. The children also take swimming instruction from teachers who are certified by the American Red Cross, and they engage in various sports. They take time out for lunch that they have provided, enjoy a snack in the afternoon, and end the day with both a cheer and a song.
