Cambridge Diet - What Not to Do

2
The Cambridge Diet is a weight loss plan that seems to fascinate a great many potential dieters, but also leaves many questions unanswered.
While there have been many reports about the effectiveness of this very low calorie diet, unfortunately many of the online articles and resources don't provide a full range of answers as to how to follow the diet or what should not be done.
This article will hopefully provide some additional information on the Cambridge Diet, including what dieters should never do.
A common question that gets asked is: can I do this diet without the supplements or shakes? The answer to this is an emphatic no.
The Cambridge Diet starts out at only around 500 calories a day, which is already too low a number.
The only reason this gets made up, is because those 500 calories are all from supplements that are designed to have extra vitamin, nutrients, and roughage that the body needs.
500 calories of regular food won't come close to meeting those requirements.
A second common mistake is to try to eat less than the 500 calories allotted.
Never do this, either.
Most diets recommend 1200 calories a day or more for a reason, and if you're on a very low calorie diet like the Cambridge, then you need every single calorie allotted.
Even for those following this weight loss plan in the UK, weekly medical supervision is required to make sure the dieter remains healthy.
This is even with all the special supplements provided, as well as the taking of a daily multi-vitamin (which is strongly recommended).
This information should make one thing obvious.
Whenever you decide to freelance into your own personal version of the Cambridge Diet - don't! The weight loss plan will be much more effective, and much safer, if you don't.
