How to Use Oakley O Frame Tear-Offs
- 1). Open your mouth wide and breath hot and moist air directly onto the lens surface. Wipe down the front of the goggle lens with a microfiber cloth until they have a clean shine.
- 2). Spread the circular tabs apart at the side of the tearoffs. Crease the clear plastic of each pull tab so it stays separate from the other layers. Standard mylar tearsoffs come stacked in fives, while the pro versions are in stacks of seven.
- 3). Line up the tiny holes on the sides of the tearoffs with the studs at either side of the lens. Flip the circular pull tab to the other side and realign the holes, if you would rather pull the tab from the other side while riding. Smooth the tearoffs onto the goggles to force out any trapped air bubbles.
- 4). Pinch the foremost tearoff tab. Peel the single layer off completely once the surface of the lens is covered in debris. Clean the primary lens with a microfiber cloth before applying a new five or seven pack of tearoffs.
