Sightseeing Attractions in London
- Most of London's major attractions line the Thames River, including Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern and Tate Britain museums. Although the Thames is beautiful all day, it shines best at night when London is lit up and the lights reflect off the water.
- London is full of private gardens, and the Chelsea Physic Garden is just one. Within the gated garden you can see a collection of plants that are not only beautiful but are also being grown to find cures for diseases.
- Take a journey across London from a different perspective: a river cruise. You'll enjoy a peaceful boat ride while also learning about the historical significance of the Thames.
- Hyde Park is one of London's largest and most famous parks. Stretching across 142 acres of central London, Hyde Park is home to Kensington Palace and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain. Even if you want to relax for a picnic, there is plenty of space to let loose.
- Although it is not one of the largest parks in London, that does not make Green Park any less impressive. Leading from the Green Park tube stop to Buckingham Palace, acres of green grass, fountains and benches make this park the perfect stop to sit and enjoy people watching.
