Article Marketing Tips - Quality Or Quantity, Which One Works?

1
Article marketing can be challenging.
Especially when you're just starting out, it could seem like you are writing great content but only a few readers actually respond to your articles.
If you keep checking your stats to see how many people are reading or how many of them click to go to your site, you will be pretty much disappointed.
There is a debate between quality or quantity of articles.
One group of people claim that you need to have high quality articles, the quantity doesn't matter at all.
The other group thinks that you should write as many articles as possible to get the words out.
People tend to think one way or another but the fact often lies somewhere between both points.
The grey part is a balance between quality and quantity.
Even with a perfect article -- if it ever exists -- you can't just do it with just one article.
Article marketing is about getting the words out constantly to keep your name on the radar and leverage what you have already posted.
To keep up with the game, often you don't have time to make an article perfect.
My suggestion is that you offer one useful idea, solutions to a problem, or tips to do something in one article.
Make it conversational if that's appropriate for your niche, and publish.
People will appreciate useful information that they can get now rather than a perfect solution a year after it.
Quality becomes more important for certain situations though.
If you're writing for a trade journal or major industry publication, you have no choice but to give your best shot and go through several drafts.
Quality also matters a lot if you want to attract a lot of inbound links, such as with a linkbait piece on your blog.
However, you need to balance quality and quantity when it comes to exposure in article directories and other sites.
Don't get me wrong, quality is still important but if in niche authority sites you are required to write at least 1500 words, in article directories, you will do fine with 300-600 words.
