Hormones and Endometriosis

13
The delicate balance within the body between our hormones is very sensitive to changes.
It is underestimated how these hormones interact with each other and how they control so many facets of our well being and emotions.
Endometriosis is a condition which is rapidly on the increase within the world.
The age at which the condition is discovered is also becoming younger and younger.
A possible cause could be the contraceptive pill.
With women approaching their sexual age earlier, their first concern is avoiding pregnancy.
They are then encouraged to go on the pill to try and control the possibility of pregnancy.
Xenoestrogens are then introduced into the body.
These mimicking chemicals replace the delicate balance of hormones that exist in the body and create imbalances which are hard for the body to recover from.
One of the common indicators of Endometriosis is Oestrogen Dominance.
Essentially the hormone Oestrogen is on higher levels within the body.
This elevated Oestrogen causes women to have a thicker uterus lining which causes more pain and ultimately could be a factor in more retrograde cells being formed in the uterus, resulting in Endometriosis.
Though the connection with the pill has yet to be researched, one has to ask oneself if Oestrogen Dominance due to creating imbalance could be a factor.
When we take a contraceptive pill, the progesterone production in the body is slowed down and controlled.
The body needs Progesterone to ensure Oestrogen levels are kept in tact.
When we then go off the pill, the body is thrown in to complete disarray with elevated Oestrogen and not enough Progesterone to control it.
Having suffered from Endometriosis personally, I know my road to recovery has been a long one.
Within the medical arena, doctors are constantly prescribing hormonal treatments to try and control Endometriosis.
They recognise that there is an imbalance of hormones and this is the factor in an increased uterus lining and more retrograde cells which ultimate make the Endometriosis worse, so they prescribe more hormonal treatments to keep the condition under control.
It is a downward spiral as the delicate balance of our hormones is again thrown into further imbalance and disarray.
Many women suffer from extreme side-effects from these hormonal treatments including nausea, migraines, weight gain, acne and various other indicators that the hormones are struggling against this "foreign object" or xenoestrogen.
Many women ultimately resort to hysterectomies and suffer many years of pain trying to get this condition under control.
But the ongoing process thus far has still been to simply manipulate hormones and control the endometriosis and no real reason has been established.
My question is therefore, do we not see the faults in this system? Can we not see that manipulating our hormones for our personal gain of not wanting to have children is silly? Can we not see that these foreign objects create more imbalance within the body than we can possible realise? With a billion dollar industry to manufacture these pills, it is unlikely that any research would reveal the serious effects they are having on women around the world.
I do hope a message can be spread which reveals the true dangers of the pill and to ask our young girls of today to rather refrain or learn more about a woman's natural cycle to avoid pregnancy.
Endometriosis is an incredibly debilitating condition for so many women.
I only wish they can find a natural method of healing where their whole body's natural balance is regained.
