Could a Wireless Alarm Work For You?

44
Have you been hearing about the wireless alarms? A wireless security system can call for help so you can get the attention and care you need.
According to the American Medical Association, 1 out of 3 people fall at least once a year.
And, injury is the fifth leading cause of death to seniors, and most of these deaths are related to falls.
The New England Journal of Medicine reported that getting help promptly, makes surviving an emergency more likely.
The longer a person remains helpless, the greater the likely hood that he/she will need supportive care.
Elderly people that become incapacitated and cannot get help, usually face the end of their ability to live independently.
The American Heart Association says Coronary Heart Disease is America's No.
1 killer; Strokes are No.

The wireless alarm is a wireless security system to monitor safety inside your home.
Let's assume you fall, and can't get up to get to your phone.
Not only would this be a terrible predicament, but your injuries could compound and become permanent without medical care.
The National Stroke Association reported four out of five Americans will be touched by a stroke.
And, more women die from a stroke than from breast cancer.
Stroke is the 3rd leading cause of death in the United States, and the number 1 cause of adult disability.
But strokes can be preventable and treated by getting prompt medical attention.
The Mayo Clinic says that nearly half of older adults who incur serious injuries from a fall, never fully recover.
And, unfortunately, many lose their ability to function independently, for the rest of their lives.
So, obviously, it's not rocket science to understand just how valuable and necessary a wireless medical alarm could be.
Of course, falls are not the only culprits that cause havoc and injuries.
A wireless alarm can be used if you should see or hear a stranger at your door, feel faint or dizzy, experience bad reactions from a new medication, hearing strange noises outside your home, or perhaps your water pipe breaks or you have flooding from a sink or tub.
If you had a wireless security alarm, you could press the panic button on the alarm that, in turn, calls the 24-hour monitoring service.
When the call center operator answers, you can talk to them without ever having to touch your phone.
In approximately 30 seconds, the call center will know you are in trouble, and will be able to send medical emergency personnel.
Of course, if you are severely injured and cannot respond verbally, help will be summoned immediately.
The call center operator can, if needed, stay on the line with you until the medical emergency personnel arrive.
When the call center alerts emergency personnel, they are given your name, where you are, and how to get access into your home.
And, if you are able to communicate and tell the operator what happened, that information will be relayed immediately.
Once medical emergency assistance has been requested, the call center operator will notify the people you listed on as call responders.
These people are usually family and friends that live nearby.
Family or friends that reside within 5-10 minutes of you, will be able to meet the emergency personnel at your door.
This will, hopefully, eliminate having to break into your house.
Wireless alarms can also call family or friends for you.
Let's say you fell, but do not feel an ambulance is needed.
You can request the call center to notify a family member, or friend, to ask them to come to your aid.
Owning a wireless alarm means you'll never need to fear that you might not be able to get help.
