The Zillertal Ski area is located in Tyrol, Austria which is at the heart of the Austrian Alps since it is surrounded by Zillertal Alps to the south-eastern, the Tux Alps to the western side, and the Kitzbühel Alps to the eastern side.
The place comprises Austian Ski Resorts like Finkenberg, Fügen, Hintertux, Hippach, Kaltenbach and Mayrhofen with a total of 130 individual pistes and 600 kilometres of trails.
Zillertal is geared for in intermediate to expert skiers but not so much with the learners and first timers.

Hintertux can be reached via a car when travelling the 230-kilometre (or 144-mile) distance from Munich Airport.
From Innsbruck Airport, you have to travel 90 kilometres (or 56 miles) to get to the resort.
Exit at the east-west A12 Autobahn located at Highway B169 to go to Mayrhofen and the Zillertal area.
You can then take a branch road from Mayrhofen that leads to Tuxertal, or you can also ride the local bus.
If you are travelling in a car during the winter season, make sure that it is geared with well-built tire chains to road-safe even during snowstorm encounters.
If you plan to use the trains system, you access stations situated in Munich or Innsbruck going to Jenbach Zillertalbahn station.
From there, you can take another train tide to get to Mayrhofen.
From Mayrhofen, you can ride a bus to arrive at the Hintertuz area.
The journey via train will take less than two hours.
Another option is hiring a taxi when you get off at the Jenbach train station that will take you to your destination.
