Chinese tea celebration supporters, people of PETA and union retirees carried indications and raised their voices outside the Salt
Palace Convention center through standard Electric's yearly shareholder meeting.
"It calls into query a fabulous offer of the honesty and morals," stated GE shareholder and animal rights activist Colleen Hatfield
of the diversity of groups rallying versus the company.

Hatfield was protesting what she acknowledged as GE's deficiency of transparency in animal testing. "We just want the truth," she
said.
Some inside the tea celebration supporters held indications calling to the firing of standard electrical CEO Jeff Immelt. one protester
called Immelt "the king of crony capitalism."
Russ Walker, vice president of FreedomWorks, a pro-small federal government organization, stated Immelt has set up up GE in
a way that will ensure it is "entirely dependent" on federal government subsidies.
"Jeff Immelt may be the photo fabulous demonstration of whatever you do not want within of a 100 % free market," he said.
Some GE retirees using the union IUE-CWA stated they showed up merely because they want their pensions increased.
"The buying and selling price of residing for retirees keeps on the way up, and we preserve on the way reducing on what we're finding for just about any pension," stated
Kevin Mahar, who arrived all the way in which from Massachusetts to protest. "They can nicely afford providing the retirees their
cost of living."
Representatives from GE could not be right away reached for comment Wednesday.
