Experience with graphics software: 1.5 years
Operating System: Windows
About the image: I used Photoshop CS2 and a plugin called Virtual Photographer to enhance this photo. I also adjusted the curves. I enjoy seeing lots of layers and depth in my layouts making them feel much like a textured paper layout when printed.

What graphics software do you use on a regular basis?
PhotoShop CS2, Adobe Illustrator
What was the first graphics program you learned?
Ulead Photo Impact
What is your all-time favorite graphics program and why?
Photoshop CS2 -- the possibilities are endless with this powerful, professional program. 1.5 years ago when I first opened photoshop 7 it was so intimidating but, I am so glad that I stuck with it and didnt give up. I still have a lot to learn but, I am truly enjoying the process.
How do you use graphics software in your day-to-day activities?
I create digital scrapbooking layouts on a weekly basis and enjoy designing my own digital elements and backgrounds. I edit photos, I just have TONS of fun playing around and discovering new stuff!
What is your best graphics tip or piece of advice?
Take it one step at a time. Have patience with your program and dont give up. Also to achieve realism when creating digital layouts, take time to pay attention to the little touches such as drop shadows, adding a staple, tape or brad when needed to your layouts!
Where do you get your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from my children, the photos that I take of them and also I find much of my inspiration when shopping for clothing and home decor. It is relaxing and the color combinations sing to me. I love color.
