How to Apply Tape in Freezing Temperatures
- 1). Locate the area where the tape will be applied and verify there is nothing covering the surface. Look for dirt, debris and other grime in the area. Wipe the area with a clean rag.
- 2). Spray household cleaner over the surface and wipe down the area with another rag to remove the dirt and debris. Scrub thoroughly over the surface until clean.
- 3). Cover a rag in water and wipe the surface clean. Dry off the surface with a clean rag before applying the tape. Verify the surface is completely dry and all the dirt and debris has been removed.
- 4). Pull a piece of tape from the roll and cut it off at the desired length with a pair of scissors. Press the tape firmly over the area and run your hands over the surface. Push it into place by hand so it can adhere to the object you are applying it to.
- 5). Place the next piece of tape on the object in the same manner and repeat the process for all of the remaining pieces of tape until the job is complete.
