Arm Away

• To arm your house when no one, including pets, are inside, enter your 4-digit security code and then press Key 2 for Away.
  
  

Arm Stay

• To arm your house while people are inside of it, enter your 4-digit security code and then press Key 3 for Stay.
  
  

Arm Night-Stay

• For increased security at night while people are inside the house, enter your 4-digit security code and then press Key 3 for Stay, and then press Key 3 for Stay a second time.
  
  

Arm Instant

• To arm while you're in the house and won't be using the door, enter your 4-digit security code and then press Key 7 for Instant.
  
  

Disarm

• To disarm the system, enter your 4-digit security code and press Key 1 for Disarm.
  
  

Chime

• To alert you to the opening of a door or window while you're inside, enter your 4-digit security code and press Key 9 for Chime.
  
  

Police

• To alert the police, press and hold the A key for two seconds.
  
  

Fire

• To alert the fire department, press and hold the B key for 2 seconds.
  
  

Bypass

• When you want to arm the system but leave one or more zones unprotected on purpose, enter your 4-digit security code and press Key 6 for Bypass. Then, enter the zone numbers that you want to deactivate.
  
  

SafePass

• The newest product from ADT is the easy-to-use SafePass. Instead of typing in a password, all the homeowner has to do is swipe their tag across the touch pad to activate and deactivate the system.
