Symptoms of a Brain Aneurysm
- With an large brain aneurysm there is pain around the eyes. If the aneurysm ruptures there is an excruciating headache.
- The eyes are affected when you have a brain aneurysm. There could be vision changes such as double vision or blurriness. Double vision is also a sign of a ruptured aneurysm.
- One or both eyelids could start to drop and the pupils could be dilated or widened.
- A more serious symptom is a feeling of numbness on just one side of the face. Paralysis on one side of the face is also possible.
- Having a stiff neck is a symptom of a ruptured aneurysm.
- Occurring with other symptoms, not alone, nausea and vomiting are signs of a ruptured brain aneurysm.
- If you lose consciousness, this could indicate a ruptured aneurysm.
