The Future of Content
The future of content presently lies with the #1 World leader of Search Engines, AD Network's and Original Content management - Google.
But competitors are lining up to challenge this global position.
Facebook could pose a serious threat to Google but Facebook needs to enter the search engine market and ultimately decide to go head-to-head with Google.
This may happen.
Facebook is pulling in 175 Million people per day, yet, I predict within the next 12 months Google will more challenge Facebook head-on as Google has already started with Google Buzz but this may not be enough as people want to "see" who they are inviting, talking or communicating with.
What people as individuals and businesses around the world online and offline presently and urgently need to know is this: NEWSFLASH: Content is about to become the #1 yard-stick and measurement of the entire Internet, Publishing and world of Digital Technology.
And, what use to be permitted and SERP if it is not up to GOOGLE improved standard's will now be dumped in the Google trash bin.
As for the digital content market it is now worth close to 135 Billion USD.
Any website, newspaper, magazine or media channel online or offline that does not present, publish or provide 'fresh' well researched, lively, informative content will experience a short life-cycle like 48hrs before you begin moving like the pop charts down or out of your keyword, industry or business category.
This is why content now and in the future will become the most precious commodity online and offline.
If your brain or business is not tuned or geared towards online Internet demand and supply one is unprepared in the 21st Century.
One is perhaps still living and trading in the offline world.
Indeed, the offline world still exists and is competing with the online world but the online world is winning and leading.
I can hear some saying "That is old news! Content has been King ever since we invented writing on a wall" Fair point, but this is the 21st Century and if the entire Newspaper Media Industry and Journalism combined can get it wrong and still is getting it wrong then what will happen tomorrow? Google through its global search engines, AD Network and original by the second Content management flow will not only employ the entire world of online users it will filter daily and control what is waste, quality or recyclable content.
This will create a global synergy of content dividing the informed SEO content writers and providers from the uninformed content writers and providers.
GOOGLE will then make its move into Digital Content and eventually once again dominate and rule.
This is very different from just waking up blogging or writing anything and everything you can find.
Mr and Mrs Google is tired of all that junk mail! In fact, Google the Giant is widening its AD Network and content reach to mobile users by acquiring a Mobile Ad Firm for $750 Million in late 2009.
Do Google Search Engines Talk? Yes, they do! Yet, only professionals will know that.
The Google search engines actually communicate in several ways: 1.
They leave you messages as to what they like or do NOT like about your web content 2.
They will place and write in search engines what you SHOULD be focusing on 3.
They will even set you home-work and if you are ignoring your website they will punish your rank 4.
Google may even filter or add 'extensions' to your keyword category to see if you are watching or listening 5.
Google even provides the FREE SEO analytical, translation tools and knowledge what one must do and not do This is why the Future of Content is the prize possession of Google and it should be your prize possession also.
The Future of Content is also following Twitter Talks All that Twittering is finally paying off for Twitter.
Now both Google and Facebook is courting Twitter as the online darling of the Internet Social Networking Arena.
Believe it or not, Twitter is the real Queen on the global social chess table that holds the Ace card future for Facebook or Google.
Without Twitter neither one stands a real chance of control.
MSN is not there yet unless Microsoft does some surprising inventions or some major buy-outs.
Yahoo needs renovation or a major joint-venture.
Until then, Twitter is the Ace Queen that everyone has to spoil, romance and date for the foreseeable future.
Content is not just king, it is the emperor of all things digital - Rupert Murdoch.
Will Online Users be Subscribing or Paying for Content? It's coming alright! As to whether the masses will "pay for it" I doubt that.
I believe the Internet has definitely created a "free forum" and unless Google starts charging for webpage submissions I truly believe Newspapers and even Social Networking websites do not stand a chance of getting the masses to pay to talk to their friends or acquaintances.
It is clear Media Groups are fighting to gain back control of their empire.
They have lost billions in News Media revenue to the Internet and that is why Rupert Murdoch is determined to get even or at least recover some of his losses.
Rupert Murdoch is a very astute and intelligent businessman he has made all or most of his current News Corp profits from TV and Film.
His purchase of MySpace was a very smart move indeed.
News Corp saw the heavy losses coming, calculated the future of the Internet and sought a global vehicle for global entry into the online world and that is why News Corp purchased MySpace.
I believe News Corp is going to start charging for everything.
But guess what? Who is in control of global news now? Not the journalists as once was but the "people power" of the Internet that without such there is no MySpace, Facebook or Twitter just search engines begging for content.
