Looking south from the same place, the fault valley runs toward the Diablo Range in the distance. (more below)

Cienega Road runs the length of this valley, then turns east toward the San Benito River valley leaving the Gabilan Range. The fault is mapped directly beneath the road by the warehouse. Farther south the DeRose Winery, along the road near the green shoulder on the right side of the valley, is situated directly on the fault trace and its buildings are being torn apart by the constant ground motion.
