For ski lovers and people who simply enjoy the mountains, Colorado is a great destination to work for a season at a ski resort. For people who do not live in Colorado, moving to the state for a job can be difficult. Housing during ski season can be expensive and hard to acquire. Searching for a job at a resort or ski area that offers housing makes planning a winter ski job easier. Most resorts do charge for the housing; however, the resorts often offer some nice perks such as free skiing and reduced-price meals.

    Aspen Skiing Company

If you are employed full time, you can receive a free mountain pass. Examples of jobs offered include children's ski school, lift attendants, tickets, snowmaking, food and beverage and rental shops.

Housing is offered in the Aspen Skiing Company apartments. Prices vary, but you can expect to pay $500 to $800 per month. Housing priority is given to certain jobs. Short commutes to job locations can be expected.
