If you like TV shows where the ladies show Run - what am I saying? We are gay, of course, we do it: Buffy Summers thought, Xena, erm, Tyra Banks - then the new U.S. crime drama Rizzoli & Isles should appeal greatly. Rizzoli & Isles is a procedural crime drama series based on novels by China-American novelist Tess Gerritsen and stars Angie Harmon (Law & Order, Baywatch) as Detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander (Dawson, NCIS ) in as chief medical examiner Maura Isles.
Each episode of Boston duo exploit the rotation of the murder case, in which are interwoven subplots light that shines in a couple of personal life. Both of these lead to one at this time, so injuries are a source of comedy to balance out with a grim world of murder, in which they work.
With the recent wave of great American theater, which operates up to a high level to which we are accustomed. Harmon, in particular, is a revelation as the Rizzoli. As the great Cagney & Lacey, a Rizzoli and Isles of nuances and gritty simple chemistry between the two son makes great fun to watch. The darker elements are often offset by the dialogue is often humorous, in particular, are scenes in which Rizzoli is frustrated about personality quirks of the islands' very funny.

On that note, it is heartening to note that Rizzoli & Isles was well received in America, where the second series has just started airing and one third has already been ordered. Even if you are not in police dramas - and let's face it, the British have never really excelled in the dramatic genre (Life on Mars to another) - it's worth tuning.
