  From April to October, Seattle serves as the point of departure for a range of pleasure and adventure cruises. Several major cruise lines operate terminals at the Port of Seattle, offering four- to 14-day excursions to destinations in Alaska and Canada. Because of the influx of cruise-goers during cruising season, several Seattle hotels offer park and cruise packages. The packages offer a cost effective alternative to parking at cruise terminals, as well as comfort and a variety of amenities.
