Convert To An Electric Car

Electric Motors vs Gasoline Engines When You Convert To Electric Car There are many reasons to convert to an electric car, one is that electric motors are more efficient than gas engines, which are around 25% (or less) efficient, while electric motors are around 90% efficient.
The biggest cause of this difference in efficiency is heat, unlike an electric motor, a gasoline engine produces a lot of heat, which means that a large part of the energy extracted from gasoline is lost to all that heat.
This is why we have to keep oil in an engine, coolant to cool the engine, a radiator to cool the coolant, and a fan to pull air over the plus all the gauges and sensors to monitor it all.
In the end all that heat is cooled by the radiator and dumped out of the exhaust system, and it is all lost energy.
But with an electric motor very little heat is produced, so there is no need for oil, coolant, a radiator, or an exhaust system.
So aside from not having to change your oil frequently, you don't have to worry about oil leaks or radiator problems either.
There are no air filters, oil filters, or fuel filters to replace, there are no tune-ups or emissions tests, there are no belts or radiator hoses that break and need to be replaced.
Here are some things that need constant attention on a gasoline engine car that an electric powered vehicle does not even have: oEngine Oil oCoolant / Radiator oExhaust System oSpark Plugs oFuel Injectors oEngine Belts and Timing Chains oHundreds Of Other Parts That Can Breakdown Electric motors are simple and uncomplicated with only one moving part, while gasoline and diesel powered engines have hundreds of parts that can go wrong.
From a reliability standpoint electric motors have many advantages over their gasoline powered counterparts which leaves little doubt that electric powered vehicles are the future of transportation and the way to go today.
So why not convert to electric car?
