1). Boot the laptop computer.
2). Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI connector on the computer.
3). Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on the TV.
4). Power on the TV, and select the correct HDMI input.
5). Hold the Windows logo key and press the "P" key twice. If this is not the display mode intended, hold the Windows logo key and press the "P" key three or four times -- until the desired display mode is reached.
