1). Click on the Windows orb in the lower left corner of your desktop and select "Control Panel" from the Start menu.
2). Select "Programs" and click "Turn Windows features on or off."
3). Click on the checkbox next to "Telnet client" to activate that feature. Confirm the activation by clicking "OK."
4). Double-click on your Telnet script to launch the Telnet client and connect to the server.
