Types of Decorative Fonts
Decorative fonts are, probably, the most valuable fonts of the entire variety. In sober fact, they are the most used in modern livelihood, in advertisements or design projects, for instance. It is important to have skills in right selection of font, as far as their variety preconditions appropriateness and correspondence to the purpose of this or that project. In this context, it is better to discuss the main types of decorative typefaces.
Antiqua is referred to one of the classic font families, which is one of most used decorative fonts at the same time. Indeed, old Antiqua is written on formal and solemn documents - diplomas, certificates, citations and many others.
Bold Antiqua (English serif) is well decorated and transformed in shape and density, and in its pure form it is more often used in the works of classical Russian literature and music of the 19th century.

They are very similar to the old antique "ribbon" fonts and can be used as either a header or a typing font, because they are not burdened with special decorative features. However, the designer, if necessary, can make shaded, large or contoured improvements to decorate project without breaking proportions.
Essentially, Grotesque usually does not have any serifs, which is why itsusage is limited by posters, advertisements or written appeals and slogans. As one could guess, they are easily read on a distance. To make Grotesque fonts serve designing purposes, it is possible to make them bold, Italian, shaded or colored.Calligraphic writing, or in other words handwritten fonts, are likely to be used in various designing projects, including formal documents, brand identities, postcards and calling cards.
Old national typefaces also appeal to decoration and graphic design, underlining reference to some national traditions and keeping antique culture of writing. These fonts are better to use on a particular national theme. For example, to promote Indian film it is correct to use of imitation of Indian national font.
