Pressure Washer Hoses

3
The pressure washer is a truly great and simple machine.
Using water under high pressure to clean large or difficult surfaces has saved countless man hours.
Although most people think of the pump as the pressure washer, it is useless without the hose.
Pressure washer hoses enable the operator reach and clean any surface easily without moving the pump itself.
Pressure washers are basically large capacity hydraulic pumps.
They don't have to deal with the heat or solvents of normal hydraulic machinery, but they are subject to most of the other constraints of hydraulic systems.
While the working pressure in most hydraulic washers is relatively low, the peak pressures throughout the machine can be very high.
The hoses must therefore be extremely strong and resilient when dealing with that much pressure.
They are almost identical in construction to the hydraulic hoses found in other industrial equipment.
A pressure washer nearly always comes with a new hose.
If that hose is damaged or cut, the operator is out of work until it is repaired.
A simple splice with hose clamps simply will not work.
The answer to that problem lies in the nature of the machine.
If one thinks of the hose as a hydraulic hose, then taking it to a shop that specializes in the repair of hydraulic hoses is a natural thing to do.
Any of these shops, of which there is at least one in any decent-sized town, can perform a swift and inexpensive repair and have the operator back to work quickly.
