He broke fans' hearts, when he opted to up and leave his role of EJ DiMera. But Days of Our Lives alum James Scott has completed work on brand new project: Christmas Eve, 1914

Scott is one of several cast members to take part in the original audible drama written by Charles Olivier.

 The 1 hour, 13 minute presentation also features Cameron Daddo, Xander Berkeley, Cody Fern, Damon Herriman, John Beck, Lance Guest, Gabe Greenspan and Nate Jones. 

Published by Audible Studios, Christmas Eve, 1914 is scheduled to be released on December 16.

It takes listeners back in time to 1914. The war, which was to have been wrapped up by Christmas, had in reality only just begun, as all sides entrenched themselves deeper into the Great War. Christmas Eve, 1914 follows a company of British officers as they rotate forward to spend their Christmas on the front lines, a mere 80 yards from the German guns. Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together in one trench and struggle to survive.

Christmas Eve, 1914 marks Scott's second project since leaving Days. A few weeks back, he filmed his part in the new Roxanna music video Here With Me. The song is a prequel to their previous collaboration in Unforgotten, where Scott was also the leading man opposite the Canadian singing star.
