I'm tired of being like this
Stuck in a world of no existence
Hiding behind this crazy facade
All I really need is a little repentance
I want to live!!!!

Getting talked about day in and day out
Stuck in a shell of questioning my being
I look in a mirror and I stare at the reflection
To whom or what am I really seeing?
I want to live!!!!

Crazy thoughts keep going through my head
It's bad when your family make you wish you were dead
Am I really suppose to be here in this land
I feel like my life is stuck in sinking sand
I want to live!!!!

I need some love where can I find it
No where to be found in or out the house
Where is mom when I need her the most?
I can't help the way I feel I'm tired, I'm discouraged, I'm defeated, and I'm lost
I want to live!!!!

Started to drink and smoke maybe that would help the pain
Lord one question, is my living in vain
Where's daddy, no where to be found
Minus mommy minus daddy there's not a soul around
I want to live!!!!

I'm tired of this feeling of loneliness, discouragement, and low self-esteem
Lord you know that deep down inside I just want to be apart of the team
The team of salvation I want to feel you near
If I get on my knees and pray then will you appear?
I want to live!!!!

I'm starting to feel you closer to me
It's as if you're holding me in your arms
I know now that nothing can happen to me
I'm protected from all danger, hurt, pain and harm
I want to live!!!!

Oh, God you are so great there is none like you
I'm so happy with the change I don't know what to do
There is nothing the devil can do to discourage me
No more pain, no more discouragement, no more defeat or misery
I want to live!!!!

I have the joy of the Lord because it is my strength
I am free to run I am free to dance I am free live for him
I have unrestricted praise I know I understand
I will tell the world about this Sovereign and Holy man
I want to live!!!!

Now I'm alive and well I'm well and alive
Look at me real closely
