Obviously the first step in starting your own business or investment, is coming up with your idea that will lay the foundation for all of your riches to come.
"I'm not creative" you say, or "I don't know where to start.
" There is no A to B path to finding your idea of the perfect business.
The important part is putting yourself in a creative mindset where you can come up with as many ideas as possible in a short period of time.
1)    You must calm down.
If you are stressed from your day at work, or you just done got done arguing with your significant other, find a quiet place to go think without distractions.
Leave your cell phone at home and make a definite effort to find at least one hour for yourself.
2)    Go to the office supply store and buy a high-quality lined notebook for brainstorming.
There's no point in thinking of a good idea if you don't have a way to recall it later.
3)    Once you are calm, write down every random business idea that comes to mind.
Use small, quick notes to jot down the idea, without worry of success or failure, and move on to the next thought.
Try to come up with 50 ideas for businesses in 1 hour.
4)    Beyond having regular brainstorming sessions, write down ideas as they come to you.
5)    Create a list of the qualities you are looking for in a business that fits your personality.
6)    Come up with 100-300 ideas and whittle them down by using the list of Underdog Millionaire Business guidelines.
7)    Eventually you will get a few ideas.
Find the one that best fits your personal needs and wants, and you have yourself a business.
