The Console on My ProForm 480E Treadmill Won't Turn On
- 1). Plug a lamp into the power outlet you are attempting to use. If the lamp works properly the outlet is in proper working order. If the lamp does not work, the outlet may not be functioning properly. You will need to select a new outlet to power your Crosswalk 400E console.
- 2). Inspect the power cord and determine if the cord is intact. A cord that is frayed or broken should be replaced immediately. Ensure the plug is firmly inserted into an appropriate power outlet.
- 3). Locate the circuit breaker on the front of the frame. The circuit breaker is a small switch intended to protect the integrity of the electrical system. If the circuit breaker has tripped, the top of the switch will be more prominent than the bottom. Push the switch back in to reset the circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker trips during use, allow the Crosswalk to cool for five minutes before resetting.
- 4). Check the safety key. The safety must be fully inserted into the slot in order for the console to operate.
- 5). Call the Proform customer service hotline at 1-877-993-7999 if the troubleshooting does not correct the issue. Have your model number and serial number ready when you call.
