How to Import Animation Frames Into Adobe Premiere Pro
- 1). Scan your animation frame into your computer if they are not already digitized.
- 2). Rename your animation frames alphanumerically. When the files are placed in a order ahead of time, you can import them directly into Premiere Pro in sequence. If you're only working with a few frames, or if you prefer to organize them manually in the Premiere Pro interface, skip to Step 3.
- 3). Open Adobe Premiere Pro.
- 4). Click on "Edit" if you're on a PC, or click the "Premiere Pro" menu on a Mac.
- 5). Click "Preferences," then "Media."
- 6). Select a framerate from underneath the "Indeterminate Media Timebase" menu. This framerate applies to all still images imported, including your animation frames.
- 7). Click "OK" to save your framerate settings.
- 8). Click "File" and "Import."
- 9). Click on the animation images to import them. If you're working with alphanumerical frames, click to select "Numbered Stills." A status bar lets you know how long the importing process will take. Once the animation frames are imported, you are returned to the main project window.
