When most people think of room dividers they automatically envision a three panel folding screen that may or may not be decorated.
But actually a room divider is anything that separates the spaces of a room into smaller areas.
There are more designs than you'd think possible, ranging from the traditional tri fold panels to solid walls of open shelving, or even a row of artificial plants.
Anything that offers you a way to provide privacy and separate a large area into smaller ones is technically a room divider.
If you're worried about cost, don't be.
Dividers aren't usually very expensive and you can use items already in your home with a little rearranging.
These are popularly used in dorm rooms and expansive lofts that need a way to segregate space but building a wall isn't practical or possible.
