How to Comb Out Cashmere
- 1). Collect the hair when your cashmere goats begin shedding. This usually happens in the spring, around March, when the weather begins to warm up.
- 2). Wipe off any surface debris from the goat's coat with an old towel.
- 3). Comb the hair with a natural bristle brush and gather the fiber that comes loose. Work in small sections at a time.
- 4). Place the fibers in a resealable plastic bag until they can be cleaned.
