Create Recording in Camtasia Studio

• To create recordings in Camtasia Studio, choose "Record the Screen." Record your video and press "F10" on your keyboard to stop recording. Camtasia Studio will display your recording. This is useful for creating software demonstrations and other how-to videos.
  
  

Import Videos Into Camtasia Studio

• Once you have recorded the video, you need to import the video recording into Camtasia Studio. You can import videos that you have recorded through Camtasia or by using a video camera. Camtasia Studio supports .camrec, .avi, .mp4, .mpg, .mpeg, .wvm, .mov and .swf video formats. To import, select "Import Media" on the "Task List" or click the "Import Media File" button on the toolbar and add the video recording to the "Clip Bin." Add the video to the timeline by clicking on the video in the Clip Bin and dragging it to the Timeline.
  
  

Produce Video

• To upload the video, you need to produce the video. Select the "Produce" button from the toolbar. Select "You Tube" from the "Presets" drop-down menu in the "Production Wizard" dialog box. Enter a name in the "Production Name" field and a file location in the "Folder" field. Click "Finish." Camtasia closes and the "Rendering" dialog box is displayed. When the video is done rendering, it will run automatically.
  
  

Upload the Video to You Tube

• Log into YouTube and click the "Upload" link at the top of the page.Click the "Upload Video" button and browse to the where you saved the video. Click "Open" and enter relevant information about the video, such as "Title," "Description," "Tags" and "Categories." Click the "Save Changes" button.
