Catalonia Archaeological Museum
The Catalonia Archaeological Museum is Barcelona's principal treasure trove of regional artifacts from ancient history. The museum is housed in the Palacio de Artes Gráficas in Montjuic, which was created for the 1929 International Exposition.
There are seven galleries devoted to prehistory, and four to Phoenician and Greek expansion in the Meditteranean.
The galleries feature sophisticated audiovisual displays as well as valuable relics from early Catalonian history.
There are also a library, various workshops and realted activities and temporary exhibitions.
