• The Spring Grand Rod Run, held the third weekend in April each year, draws thousands of motor sports fans to the spacious Grand Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Pigeon Forge is located just seven miles from Gatlinburg. The Spring Grand Rod Run is the starter event to a new season of car and motorcycle conventions and shows. Rumble in the Hills Motorcycle Rally

• The Rumble in the Hills Motorcycle Rally is an annual event that takes place the last weekend in April. Thousands of motorcycle fans flock to the Smoky Mountains every year to see, buy and sell unique motorcycles. Highlights of the event include poker runs, off-site shows, shine events, races and parades. In addition, hundreds of vendors showcase their wares on-site. Ribfest and Wings

• Ribfest and Wings is an annual celebration of the famous barbecue food of Tennessee. Barbecue fans from all over the world visit Tennessee during the event to compete in cook-offs, test new products and enjoy parades, live music, car and motorcycle shows, and children's events. The main events take place at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies Plaza in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg.
