Video: How to Draw Landscape Renderings
Video Transcript
Greetings. It;s your friend Kenny O, also known as the lunch bag dad. And in this video I'm going to teach you how to draw a landscape. You guys ready? Let's get started. I'm just going to have my charcoal pencil, I'm going to throw down my horizon line, and then right here throw in some palm trees. And these are where my palm trees are going to be. And here's my second palm tree right there. And I'm just going to get in here with my charcoal stick. Awesome. Going to come over here, do the same thing, put a nice little shadow right there. Then I'm just going to put in a line, kind of in the sand. And come in there and really get that down, this little rock right here. And put a nice little rock. All right. And make this a little be higher because this is going to be just kind of facing towards the beach right there. And put some waves, and this is going to be a nice little sail boat action going on. And then this kind of nice light wave layer, and I get in there with my fingers. And then just put a nice little ship gray and then I'm going to come over here and get a nice kind of darker shade because this is our foreground. And then there we go. Let's get a little bit over here. And you can see now it kind of looks like we're looking out into the ocean. I'll even put in a little white on our waves with our eraser. There we are. And now I'm going to start putting in those leaves on those palm trees. And then I'm going to go to those, add a little detail to them. Just come down here and add some of those leaves. Come down, add some of those leaves and come back with your finger, add some volume to that tree, same thing with this one. Come back, draw coconuts on that tree. The same with this one, and that one right over here. And I'm going to add some more volume to this tree right here so I'm going add some more shading. And just come back there and darken this rock. Add that spot to the sand. Come in here, shade some more. Add a little bit more to this corner. And add a little boat a little shadow right here on our boat. And there we are guys, that's our awesome little island. This has been Kenny O. And remember guys always keep drawing.
