You said that we women feel like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. In the past, I have spoken mostly to moms and I have seen that acutely. By and large, most moms feel like failures. I got to the point one day where I said, “Lord, why do we feel like failures when we're really doing the best that we can?” It seemed like no matter how great the kids were, we all felt the same.
I really felt like the Lord said, “That's exactly where I want you to be. When you realize that you can't do this on your own, that's when you cry out to me.” So that has been a real help to me. When I feel like a failure as a mom, a speaker, a friend, a Christian or anything, rather than let it weigh me down and spiral me down further, I just go “Wait a minute! This is my reminder that this is the best place of all to be because this is where I know I can't do it and that's when I cry out to God and He responds to what we ask.” That's where He can show up and do something beyond what I can do in my own strength anyway.
I would want to say to women, if you're feeling like a failure in any area, that is a good thing. That is a good reminder to cry out to God because He just relishes in showing up in our weakness. That's where His glory just shows off to the world.
