Home Made Skin Care Therapies
There are so many different types of skin care products being produced and advertised nowadays that one can get overwhelmed of this and that promised magical cream that do wonders.
However, this is also the time when going green is in vogue, so why not try out some home grown natural skin care therapies.
Natural is surely best.
Natural is the best way to achieving a youthful, vibrant and gorgeous skin.
It is healthy and best of all not expensive but highly beneficial for your skin and the whole body.
It is not momentary in that it works forever! • The first step is to make your diet as natural as possible and keep away from junk food.
It is true that you are and become what you eat, whether it is your body weight or skin health and texture.
All those surprise skin blemishes, breakouts, skin roughness or even acne could be linked to what you have been eating.
A good balanced diet should consist of fibre rich foods like grains, legumes and healthy fats such as flaxseed oil, walnut oil, and omega-3 fish.
Also include a rich serving of fruits and vegetables high in vitamins such as vitamins A, B, B2, and E; the right amount of calcium, iodine and protein.
You can do well to as well watch your sugar intake as too much of it is linked to obesity, shapeless structure and prematurely looking aged as a result.
• Again if you live in the tropics or are visiting or planning to, one thing to watch for is your hydration levels as you have to counter the excessive humidity and heat with drinking a lot of water and fluids; at least more than two and a half litres per day.
Low hydration levels may bring about complications such as acne, psoriasis, dry skin and constipation.
Most of the body structure is fluid, as any biologist will attest, so you would do well by replenishing these fluids and in the process wash out excess body waste and toxins.
• A major regime that is good for the skin is regular exercise.
This is more critical if your job is that which has you sitting all day with few or any physical activities.
Utilise your free time by joining a nearby gymnasium and workout frequently.
If you can afford purchase some aerobic equipment for use at home if your daily routine is too tight to fit in some time for the gym.
Aerobics as I have emphasised in my posts on the subject is an all round therapy; Joining an aerobic class is not a luxury but not only a health and fitness matter but a perfect skin therapy too.
Take the steps instead of the lift or an escalator.
Park your car at the furthest point in the car park and utilise the longer walk as an exercise.
During the weekends enjoy time out and run around, play games with your children or siblings; go swimming or jogging.
In short do anything to burn out the calories.
Have a regular exercise.
