Entourage Know Your Favorite Five
'Entourage'… A 2004 American comedy-drama television series that ran for like seven years. It started in the year 2004 and ended in the year 2011. The series basically chronicles the life of a film star, Vincent 'Vince' Chase (Adrian Grenier), a young A-list movie star and his entourage comprising of his childhood friends from Queens, New York. The show tracks them as they navigate through the unfamiliar areas of Los Angeles, California.
Vincent Chase's life in the show is loosely based on the experiences of Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg. His experiences as up-and-coming film star. This can be obvious from the fact that in the show Vincent Chase's first Blockbuster film 'Aquaman' is inspired by Mark Wahlberg working with Wolfgang Petersen on 'The Perfect Storm' (Wahlberg's first major blockbuster). Incidentally, Wahlberg is one of the executive producers of the movie.
Other than that, there is this other character, a member of the entourage of Vincent Chase, Jeremy Piven whose character is based on Ari Emaneul, a partner at the Endeavor Agency. Interestingly Ari 's clients that show up in the sitcom (Vin Diesel and Larry David)are in real life Ari Emaneul's clients.
The other main characters of the show are: Eric 'E' Murphy (Kevin Connolly), Turtle ( Jerry Ferrara) and Johnny 'Drama' Chase (Kevin Dillon).
So, basically in this series everything revolves around this famous star, Vincent Chase, and as already mentioned, everybody else forms the part of the entourage.

Eric Murphy: He is the best friend and manager of Vincent Chase. Fondly known as 'E', this character is basically inspired by Stephan Levinson, Mark Wahlberg's manager.
Johny 'Drama' Chase: He is the older half-brother of Vincent Chase. As a member of the entourage, he plays the role of Vince's personal chef, trainer and bodyguard. He plays the role of this guy who is a C-list actor who was in the fictional show 'Viking Quest' during his younger days.
Ari Gold: Vince's abrasive but lovable agent. Based on Wahlberg's real life agent Ari Emaneul, this character became so popular that it led to several nominations and Emmy Awards for Jeremy Piven.
Turtle: Salvatore 'Turtle' Assante is another childhood friend of Vincent Chase. His role in the entourage is as Vincent's driver and assistant. This character is loosely based on Wahlberg's 'gofer' Donnie Carroll.
