The DNA Phantom Effect
- The DNA Phantom Effect, discovered in Moscow at the Russian Academy of Sciences, was a byproduct of another experiment. The scientists Gariaev and Poponin analyzed strange occurrences during an energy experiment. The scientists believed there was no rational explanation for the change in the energy surrounding the experiment. The two then began studying the idea that the humans involved affecting the results. This led Gariaev and Poponin to the idea that people emit an unknown amount of energy from the DNA within the body. The scientists have found nothing further to substantiate the claim.
- Other experiments try to explain the idea of subtle energy fields surrounding all life and items. Prior to the DNA phantom studies no one has found a way to prove any such existence. The people who believe in the phantom effect believe it can be coupled with electromagnetic fields of laser radiation and can then be measured. Those who do not believe in the experimentation conclude the differences in the electromagnetic energy is not of an adequate amount to verify any such existence and definitely not enough to truly effect change.
- Many people do not care about the accuracy of the experimentation. Like many other therapy theories, the belief in the process tends to be what matters. Some have found success by changing the way they think about the world around them. The change in attitude might be enough to affect the newfound outcomes or the efforts put in to succeed, but either way the result becomes the same. Scientists who want hard proof find all of the positive stories unquantifiable.
- While no one has found a definitive way to prove the DNA phantom effect to everyone, it is a fact the body is made of energy. Everyone produces electrical currents through the brain and the heart. The body changes food into energy and energy into power. Whether the idea of positive thoughts and focus really change any electrical currents has yet to reach specific conclusion as of 2011 and the theory seems to serve as a starting point for people seeking a positive change rather than true scientific facts. As the theory remains viewed as theology more than science, no notable scientific magazines cover the topic.
