Scotty: FlowerLady has a house full of beautiful plants but this Prayer Plant with its vibrancy, colour and texture has muscled its way onto center stage. Great!

Marie: FlowerLady said she entered this photo because her Prayer Plant (Maranta leuconeura was doing well this year. I'd say so. When I first looked at the photo I thought, "That's very striking, for such a common house plant. Then I tried to remember the last time I saw one of these plant in someone's house and realized they're not that common at all.

I see them in greenhouses, but rarely in someone's home and none this lovely.
