How to Convert MP3 to Standard Music Format
- 1). Insert the blank CD into the computer's CD drive.
- 2). Open Windows Media Player and navigate to the "Burn" section. Click the "Burn" tab and select "Audio CD" as the format.
- 3). Drag and drop the MP3 files from Windows Explorer into the burn queue. Note that CDs hold up to 80 minutes of audio playback, so do not insert more than 80 minutes of music into the queue.
- 4). Click "Start Burn" and wait for the process to finish before working on any other computer applications, as this could ruin the disc. Re-insert the CD if Windows Media Player ejects it upon completion.
- 5). Toggle to the "Rip" tab in Windows Media Player and place a check mark by each song name on the CD. Use the "Rip -> More Options" command to specify an output destination for the converted files. Select "Rip -> Format" and choose "WAV" as the conversion type.
- 6). Select "Start Rip." The converted files are now in standard music format.
