Guided by a Phantom
This incident happened in 1999 when I was 5 years old at our old house in one province at the Philippines. Before this incident happened, there were several unexplainable things happening inside our house. I would always feel that someone was looking at me behind my back or someone was trying to touch me, but would settle its hand a few inch from my face.
I also have a hard time sleeping because I would find myself awake in the middle of the night, feeling afraid for no reason at all.
Things inside the house would disappear and would reappear on locations we were certain we didn't place it there.
There is this one incident that I cannot forget. We we're watching the TV -- my father, mother, my four sisters and me -- when suddenly an electricity loss happened (we usually call this "brown out"). Every time there was a "brown out" my father would take out his lighter and light it for my mother to locate the lamp.
Before my father managed to light his lighter, a big hand grabbed my wrist. I assumed it was my father because my father is a big man. The man was pulling me and encouraging me to go with him at the corner of the house. At first my instinct is to obey, but I suddenly felt a creepy feeling and my mind was telling me to run.
The man kept on saying, "Come with me here." I can still recall his voice: it was a voice of a huge person. When I was almost encouraged to obey the man, a lighter lit up at the far corner of the house. It was then I confirmed that the man holding my wrist was not my father, and there was no other man inside the house since all of my siblings are girls.
I struggled to get away from the man, and luckily as my hand slipped away from his hand the electric power was back. When I look for the man he was gone.
There were other paranormal activities in the house that I personally experienced that I cannot explain until we moved to a new house. My grandmother told us that she turned our old house into an apartment since we left the rights of the house to my fathers mother.
One tenant was possessed by a spirit and was exercised. The spiritualist who performed the exorcism explained that our house, particularly the part of the house where the man was trying to pull me, was part of a portal to a different world. The reason I cannot sleep at night is because my room was the exact location of the portal. As of today the house still exists, but will soon demolished because my grandparents will soon be moving.
