  The Iberostar Paraiso del Mar is an all-inclusive resort located in the area of Mexico called the Mayan Riviera. Since the resort is all-inclusive, with nearly all food, drinks and activities included in the price of the room, many things are available to do on the resort grounds. The Mayan Riviera also offers several nearby attractions, for guests who wish to leave the property.
  
  

Sports

• Most sports and outdoor activities are included at no extra charge. This means that all guests have free access to tennis, yoga and kayaking, just to name a few. The Iberostar Paraiso del Mar also maintains a scuba dive center, for those guests who are certified to dive. If outdoor athletics aren't your thing, the resort also has a full indoor gym onsite.
  
  

Entertainment

• The Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar offers live nightly entertainment for both teens and adults. Live shows generally take the form of musical revues, dance performances or a combination of the two. Adults can go to the onsite nightclub to dance and mingle, while children are welcome at Lucy's Club, where they can play and watch movies.
  
  

Spa

• El Spa is the onsite adults-only spa. Here, guests can enjoy hydrotherapy treatments, skin treatments and massage. The spa also offers hair and nail services for those guests who want to look extra-sharp for a night out. Treatment packages are available for those who are interested in multiple treatments. It's important to remember, though, that spa services are not part of the all-inclusive package.
  
  

Playa del Carmen

• Guests can take a cab south to the town of Playa del Carmen, where they will find plenty of shopping, bars and restaurants. 5th Avenue is the main street of the tourist-friendly neighborhood, and the best place to spend an afternoon or evening strolling. If you're interested in checking out the island of Cozumel, ferries depart regularly from docks in Playa del Carmen.
  
  

Mayan Ruins

• Visitors to the Mayan Riviera have the opportunity to explore several ancient Mayan sites. Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza are all within driving distance of the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. Tulum features a beach for swimming, Coba is an authentic Mayan community of indigenous people, and Chichen Itza is home to the magnificent Kukulcan Pyramid. Numerous tour companies offer packages that generally include transportation to and from the sites and a meal during the day.
