How to Set Auto Start Up for a Computer
- 1). Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup by hitting the F2 key when prompted by the start-up screen.
- 2). Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to the "Power Management" settings.
- 3). Hit the Enter key to view all of the power-management options.
- 4). Use the arrow keys to move down to the "Date" option, and type in the day on which you want your computer to start up.
- 5). Use the arrow keys to move down to the "Time" option, and enter the exact time at which you want the computer to boot up.
- 1). Open "System Preferences" by clicking on the Dock icon.
- 2). Go to the "Energy Saver" control panel under the "Hardware" category.
- 3). Click on the "Schedule" button in the lower-right corner of the Control Panel window.
- 4). Check the box next to "Start Up or Wake."
- 5). Choose the start-up frequency and then enter the exact time at which you want your system to boot up.
