The Value of Teaching Time to A Child

2
Teaching a child how to read time off of clock of some type is a high level abstract brain function that is a socialization to social class group of people that he has to interact with.
What level of importance is place on reading and understanding time setup understanding of language a child is going to learn in order to function in his surrounding or his economic status level.
It is a challenge for some children to learn to read a clock and then mentally associate numbers on clock to their surrounding and how to value the importance of what those numbers mean.
Reading and understanding time is a mental complex function in order to relate to family and community they are born too.
The better a child understand time the greater will be their range of possibilities to understand transaction between people in their surrounding and in the society are large.
In modern societies time and work are together and understanding value of money it related to how one values time.
Learning time is one of the first high level mental class function to lower confusing for a child in understanding adults and create feeling of belonging with them through social transactions.
How a child learns to read time and then understand the family value of time forms part of his identity to be part of the family.
Children want and need to feel they belong to a family and that is influenced by their understanding how they see the value of time.
Modern societies have a complex understanding and how to use TIME related to work and money and even personal relationships.
How a child emotionally values time relates to the social class value of time they are born into.
If they want to move up on the economic scale they have to learn how value time in a new way.
Each economic class group has different meaning value of the importance time that relates to money.
If they want to move up on the social scale they have to learn that social level understanding of importance of time.
Each social class group has their own view points and emotional importance related to words that reflect meaning of time.
The importance of learning the different value of time affects a child social and economic interaction in life.
How to teach time is the question for all children for they do not learn it the same way.
You learn how to read and value time through emotional interaction with adult that demands the child focus on it during interaction.
The importance of learning time begin with the family.
Knowing something to a child is a beginning but using the knowledge form the emotional value of knowing time that makes them part of the group with level of status.
Children with learning preconception challenges due have a real problem with reading and understanding relationships to numbers that reflects time of the day or night.
Then you have how to emotionally value the numbers to what time is it and then use that knowledge effectively.
You have two groups of child in the beginning to learn time and what it means to read time.
First group can see and read the numbers and place them in a repeatable order that form foundation of group mental understanding of time and the many relationships formed through meaning of time.
That is normal sensory and mental functional ability to see, read and make order out of abstract ideas from sensory inputs and have repeatable order in the abstractions with low effort.
The second group of children has a challenge to see a repeatable order with a number even to the point of the shape of the number on clock in a repeatable understanding way.
Then comes the repeatable understanding what the sensory bring in requires greater effort then normal child have to do and challenge of combat frustration begins for the child will know he is slower than his group.
In some cases a child has hard time to see the same numbers repeatable which they find confusing in adults reactions to what they say.
They see something and believe it is something but others response to it does not match to their ideas of being right and belonging.
Teaching a child with perception challenges requires an approach that has a higher level of surrounding cuing association to each number on clock face in the beginning for its all about repeatable order of perception in the beginning.
Once the child can have a repeatable number perception comes understanding a repeated emotional understanding of the value of numbers on the clock in how it relates to their understanding of time.
Then linking the ability to reading numbers that forms repeat understanding to numbers on clock and knowing what to do with that information are all separate learning parts that has to be linked together for this type of child.
This is what a child with sensory input and abstract non repeatable pattern ability goes through in processing new ideas and manage their frustration having to go through the great effort to get something so small in understanding.
They have to have a greater deep in linking different abstract connection between physical numbers on clock face and it value to do thing in the modern family.
The real hard part is how to use it to express language ideas to do things for this child for they will have a higher level to make mistakes on time.
The level of mental details linked to cuing to create focus on a clock and its numbers is just far greater than other children have to do.
This child learning of time is never complete and it just take longer for this child to learn modern value of time in their language and use it to fit in their life.
They will always have to deal with level of confusion in communicating with others that relate to time and will take longer mental time to become focus in a time mental frame work.
They have to learn with a development of a different thought pattern process to reach the same end that others have reached that is the reason they are a little slower to reach the same end.
They need more cuing on numbers, clock to their surrounding to make judgements.
How to teach a child time will directly be relate to their ability to form repeatable number patterns and understand how to use that pattern.
The key to teach child with mental learning sensory challenges is out side cuing to bring mental understanding in what they are focusing on is a clock then begin the mental process of understanding the demand of knowing what on the clock or what time is it.
Suggestion for these children is showing them movement of the sun and the clear understanding of the 4 parts to understanding what the sun does Then how the clock with the second hand movement on the face of the clock marks movement of the sun across the sky.
Identify relationship between second hand movement on the clock face to numbers and movement of the sun and all the cuing need to reach time ideas is the goal.
The understanding the word related to sun movement like AM, PM, night and day are all mental abstraction to movement of the sun and how that effects one life itself.
These 4 mental ideas can been mixed up very easy it child can not form repeatable patterns and keep those patterns once learned.
These child coming adult have develop ability to form webs of linking information to keep just one pattern idea about time.
Finding a watch that a child can sensory see and feel on his wrist and they enjoy looking at increases his emotional value to understand the need to learn time without fear and not come to frustrated with level of effort they have to go through.
Making the watch or clock object valuable to learn and how to use it will be base on how it looks so they can see numbers and the clock as clock in understanding.
Fear of being confused and high level of effort is the greatest challenge in teaching time to these children.
Frustration level has to be in a emotional range that is exceptable for the child otherwise the level will stop the learning process.
Mental abstract learning always has a level of frustration to be over come that is normal learning.
But if it goes to high and as no outlet there will be a reaction to not to learn it or fight about learning it.
It is all about attitude development to except frustration in learning new things in life.
For this child they have to learn and except difference amount of time for them to learn something in life and how to use it.
They need extra cuing to bring mental focus on sensory to abstraction ideas in life that it.
