It is important to pace yourself when exercising so that you don't burn out and stop.
The best way to learn how to jump higher is to workout those muscles consistently, and continue the regimented routine for months or even years.
This is not an exercise program; these are individual exercises that will aid in improving your ability to jump higher.
As with any exercising you do, you should warm up.
Get a proper stretch in order to limber up the muscles you'll be working and jog for a few minutes.
And if you have tried many tricks and are still wondering about how to jump higher, then here is a great idea: Rope jumping.
Jumping rope is excellent for warming up and also helps in conditioning your muscle.
After the warm up is done you can do some deep knee beds.
While standing, slowly bend at the knees.
Be sure to keep your back straight and crouch as low as possible.
Slowly rise back to standing.
You should do about 15 of these for a start and increase to 20 or 30 over time.
For jumping deep knee bends start from a standing position, crouch low by bending at the knees - this should be done quickly.
Propel yourself upwards as high as you can.
Immediately repeat when you come down.

Toe Raises are a simple exercise.
Simply start by standing in a regular fashion and then raise yourself on the tips of your toes.
Lower slowly back down.
Repeat this about 30-50 times.
For faster results you can add some 5-10 pound weights to your ankles.
By incorporating some of these exercises into your routine, you will be able to jump higher in no time.
