Spring and early summer signals a time to serve on of my very favorite desserts: Strawberry Shortcake. This recipe is a combination of the old-fashioned way to serve Strawberry Shortcake on a biscuit instead of an actual shortcake. It's also a more contemporary dessert made with more than just strawberries. There are other berries in it too.
