How to Remove Stubborn Stains on an RV Awning
- 1). Spray the awning with water from a garden hose to remove imbedded dirt. Apply a dime size amount of commercial awning fabric cleaner to a soft cloth.
- 2). Dab the cleaner onto the stubborn stain and on the other side of the fabric. Roll up the awning.
- 3). Keep the cleaner on the stain for the amount of time recommended by the cleaner manufacturer. Unroll the awning.
- 4). Scrub the stubborn stain with a brush, if you have a vinyl awning. Do not scrub an acrylic awning, as you risk removing the water retardant finish.
- 5). Rinse the awning with water from the garden hose. Repeat the entire process on any other stubborn stains on the awning.
