• Located in the central area of Colorado, Beaver Creek is a small village in the White River National Forest ski area. Though this town does not have any Chinese restaurants, the surrounding communities offer a number of eateries that feature Asian cuisine. China Garden

• Just a mile north of Beaver Creek, China Garden is in the town of Avon. This restaurant offers Mandarin and Szechuan cuisine as well as a variety of dishes from Southeast Asia. China Garden has an extensive lunch and dinner menu and is also able to accommodate any special dietary needs. Specialties include the Treasure of the Sea, a sizzling platter of shrimp, scallops and Asian vegetables; and Kung Pao Sun Yan, a dish of beef, shrimp and chicken in a spicy peanut sauce. In addition, this casual establishment offers traditional Chinese dishes, like lo mein and fried rice. China Garden has a full bar, and a takeout menu is available too. May Palace

• Located 15 minutes east of Beaver Creek, May Palace is the only Chinese restaurant in the city of Vail. This upscale restaurant features traditional Chinese dishes, with a focus on Szechuan and Mandarin cuisine. In addition, May Palace offers 13 dishes that fuse flavors from Asian countries, like Thai curries and Penang coconut Chilean sea bass. Other specialties at the May Palace include pineapple fried rice, with cashews, basil, shrimp and raisins, and whole lobster served with a ginger scallion sauce or a spicy jalapeno and peppercorn saute. The restaurant is also home to a full bar with happy hour specials. The May Palace is open every day, and lunch and takeout menus are available.
  
  

Asian Spice Bistro

• Situated in the town of Edwards, the Asian Spice Bistro is a few miles west of Beaver Creek. This restaurant showcases traditional Chinese cuisine along with dishes from other Asian countries like Vietnam and Malaysia. Menu offerings include classics like General Tso's Chicken as well as unexpected items such as the Indian flatbread known as roti pratha. The restaurant has a number of fried rice varieties, noodle bowls and Moo Shu dishes as well. Asian Spice Bistro features a casual dining atmosphere, a full bar and a patio for outdoor seating during warmer months. This restaurant is open every day from 11:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.
