How to Install a Jeep Wrangler Body Lift Kit
- 1). Locate all 11 body mount locations under the Jeep Wrangler. There are two at each end of the rear bumper, two directly above the rear axle, three on each side under each door and one in the front center of the Jeep.
- 2). Spray each bolt with penetrating fluid.
- 3). Remove the bolts from the Jeep with a ratchet and socket.
- 4). Place a jack on one side of the Jeep. Place a block of wood between the jack and the body of the Jeep. Lift the Jeep enough to slide the body lift spacers in between the stock body mount and the frame. Lower the body onto the lift spacers.
- 5). Repeat on the opposite side of the Jeep until each spacer is installed.
- 6). Install the longer bolts supplied with the kit and tighten them down with the ratchet and socket.
