How to Apply Black & Smoky Eyeshadows
- 1). Use your finger to dot a small dab of cream concealer on each of your upper eyelids. Blend the concealer into eyelids with your finger, working it up to your brow bones.
- 2). Swipe your finger along your brow to make sure there are no visible lines or smudges where the layer of concealer ends.
- 3). Moisten the ultra-fine eyeliner brush and roll the bristles in the matte black eyeshadow. Gently tap the tip of the brush to remove excess eyeshadow.
- 4). Line your upper eyelids, sliding the tip of the bristles along your lash lines. Dot the eyeshadow along your lower lash lines with the tip of the eyeliner brush. Reapply eyeshadow to the brush as needed.
- 5). Smudge the eyeshadow along your lash lines with the clean cotton swab. This softens the lines and removes excess shadow to prevent smearing.
- 6). Dip the medium-sized eyeshadow brush into the shimmery black eyeshadow. Tap it gently to remove excess eyeshadow.
- 7). Brush the shadow onto your eyelids. Cover the lids completely and blend upward into the creases of your eyelids. You may blend the shadow slightly outward past the corners of your eyelids for dramatic flair.
